Orchid – A new chapter

Following a phenomenal first six months of trading Orchid Field Marketing has been acquired by The River Marketing Group Ltd.
Orchid now becomes part of The River Marketing Group which was established in 2002 and currently has in excess of 65 employees across the group of agencies. The Group's expertise is to positively influence the people who represent our client's brand to our client's consumers, internal, external, business or retail.
Field Marketing has always complemented the strategic direction of the group, but potential group companies must demonstrate experience and expertise in their chosen field accompanied by a positive, passionate and energetic approach to business. The business is all about people, therefore Lysa and Laurence are a perfect match.
Field Marketing has to be about adding value at every stage of the process. The River Marketing Group offers Orchid the opportunity to take Field Marketing creativity and technology to another level delivering a higher return for clients in a very cost effective manner.
Peter Brooks and Phil Dunk join the Orchid Board of Directors, supporting the autonomy of the business, offering input to the strategic vision and subsequent alignment to the River Marketing Group Ltd
Whilst the business retains the company registration and VAT number, we will now be known as Orchid Field Marketing

Orchid ISO 9001:2008 Accreditation

Orchid are delighted to announce we have been awarded the prestigious and sought after ISO9001:2008 certification! To have received this award less than nine months into conception is a phenomenal achievement and is indicative of the focus our business places on our clients needs and demands to ensure our business standards, practices and levels of systems management are highly professional.
This certification has only been achieved by about 5% of UK businesses and is recognised world-wide. The assessment was undertaken by an independent body, QMS International plc, experts who are used to judging standards on a daily basis in a wide variety of trades and industries, evaluating our organisations working practices, procedures and processes.
Copies of the certificate (GB 17087F) are available on request and our website will soon be updated to include this certification.

New FM agency Orchid is clearly proving itself for its resourcefulness. Their innovation was a surprisingly obvious one to outsiders to the FM industry but showed clear thinking for a an FM activity – and delivered obvious benefits.
Kodak needed sales demonstrators fast in order to gain maximum advantage in terms of market share and incremental printer sales. Rather than trawl an existing pool of known field marketeers , Orchid contacted a recruitment agency that specialised in the technical arena. Orchid selected individuals who combined technical know-how and sales ability.
The effect of employing knowledgeable (and presumably more expensive) sales people was rewarded with coverage of 99.7% and sales at 48% above target.
